Terms and Conditions

OVERVIEW

These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, clear, and supportive process for both of us while creating your website.

By proceeding with a booking, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below.

PAYMENT TERMS:

A 50% deposit is required before any website build can begin. This secures your booking and your allocated build slot.

The remaining balance is due in full before your website goes live.

Payment plans are available and will be agreed in advance:

• Up to 4 months for multi-page websites 
• Up to 2 months for landing pages 

All payments are non-refundable, as your booking secures time, planning, and work dedicated specifically to your project, regardless of whether the project is completed.

BUILD TIME & AVAILABILITY:

A rough build timeframe will be provided once your deposit has been received.

This timeframe is based on the understanding that:

• your website information form is completed 
• all required content and images are provided 
• GoDaddy access has been granted 

If these are not in place, your build may be delayed and moved to the next available slot, to ensure fairness to other clients.

HOSTING, DOMAINS & GODADDY ACCESS:

You are responsible for purchasing and maintaining your own domain and hosting through GoDaddy.

Delegate access will be requested so I can build your website.

Please note:

• you remain the account holder at all times 
• any direct communication with GoDaddy (e.g. account queries, verification, billing) must come from you 

You agree to be available, if needed, to resolve any account-related issues during the build process.

CONTENT & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your website is designed to reflect your business, so your input is essential.

You are responsible for providing:

• written content (or key information) 
• images and branding materials 
• any additional assets (e.g. brochures, logos, documents) 

While guidance will be provided where needed, I do not create full branding or written content from scratch.

Stock images may be used where necessary, but these are not a substitute for your own business imagery.

REVISIONS & SCOPE:

Reasonable revisions are included as part of the build process.

Additional changes, new pages, or requests outside of the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

This ensures the project remains manageable, fair, and aligned with your original booking.

COMMUNICATION & AMENDMENT REQUESTS:

To ensure clarity, accuracy and smooth workflow throughout the website process, all requests for website updates, amendments, additions or changes must be submitted via email.

Detailed amendment requests should be clearly provided in writing either within the email itself or attached as a Word or PDF document where appropriate.

Whilst general communication regarding websites and ideas may take place via WhatsApp, phone or voice note, all detailed amendment requests, structural changes, wording updates or content revisions must still be submitted via email as outlined above before work can commence.

This helps ensure:

• all requested changes are accurately documented
• no details are missed or misunderstood
• amendments can be tracked efficiently
• both parties have clear confirmation of requested work

Pet Groomer Websites reserves the right to request amendment instructions to be resubmitted via email before additional work is undertaken.

Where requested amendments or additions fall outside the originally agreed project scope, additional charges may apply. Any additional costs will always be discussed and agreed prior to work commencing.

WEBSITE LAUNCH:

Your website will only go live once:

• full payment has been received 
• you have approved the final design 

It is your responsibility to review the website before launch to ensure you are happy with all content and functionality.

ONGOING SUPPORT & UPDATES:

Ongoing support is available if required.

This can be:

• a monthly support plan 
• or ad-hoc updates as needed 

All ongoing work is chargeable and will be agreed in advance.

GROWTH & FUTURE DEVELOPMENT:

Landing pages are a great place to start and can be developed over time.

If you choose to upgrade to a larger website in the future, the cost of your landing page build will be deducted from your full website project.

LIABILITY:

While every effort is made to ensure your website is accurate and functional, I cannot be held responsible for:

• third-party platform issues (e.g. GoDaddy outages) 
• inaccuracies in client-provided content 
• changes made after the website has gone live 

COMMUNICATION & RESPONSE TIMES:

I always aim to respond as quickly as possible.

As I also run my grooming business alongside website design, there may be times during the day when I’m not able to reply straight away — but I will always come back to you as soon as possible, usually within 1–2 working days.

I really value clear and open communication, and appreciate your understanding during busier times 💜
